Salvatorian Seminary: Vivat academia!
In the celebrations took part representatives of the Pontifical Theological Department in Wrocław and local authorities, numerous professors, lecturers and Salvatorians from Poland and abroad.
After the Holy Mass the Seminary Choir presented the Medieval hymn "Gaude Mater Polonia" and fr. Jerzy Madera SDS, Recotr of the Salvatorian Seminary, officially inaugurated the new academic year. Five new students were accepted for the philosophy and theology studies at the Seminary and the Ponficital Theology Department in Wrocław. After the inaugural lecture and speeches, Fr. Piotr Filas SDS, Provincial Superior, concluded the official celebrations. In the afternoon took place pedagogical conference of educators, professors and lectureres with participation of the Provincial Council SDS.
This year the Savlatorian community in Bagno consists of 53 persons, among whom are 38 Salvatorians at the initial formation level. Among the alumni are Seminarians from Albania, Belarus, Czech Republic, Honduras, Kosovo, Mexico, Tanzania and Ukraine.
