Only 33 miles and only 2 days... For the 27th time already the Salvatorians accompanied the pilgrims, whom they served earlier on their pilgrimage, encouraging them with Jesus' words: Do not be afraid. A pilgrimage on foot in Poland is no surprise, especially around the Częstochowa area. However in the United States it is different.

The pilgrims left St. Michael church in Chicago on August 9th 2014. On Sunday they reached the Shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Merrillville. Among pilgrims were: the Most Rev. Oleg Butkiewicz, Ordinary Bishop of the Diocese of Vitebsk, Fr. Piotr Filas, Provincial Superior of the Polish Province of the Salvatorians and Sister Aniela from Bagno.
